Welcome to Graphite Hill Farm!
Graphite Hill Farm is located on 100 acres in Greenfield, NY just 15 minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs. We are close to town but surrounded by trees and beautiful mountain views. We are excited to offer a high level of care for a few select boarders. The owners of Graphite Hill Farm live on site offering dedicated attention to the safety and well-being of all horses.
We chose the name 'Graphite Hill Farm' because our farm looks up to a ridge line that used to be part of the Empire Graphite Mine in the early 1900s. Around 1900, William Carver discovered graphite near Porters Corners. His business partner, Mr. Meyer formed the Empire Graphite Company. We wanted to acknowledge the history of the area as we begin a new journey for the property.
